Both the Fortune Cat and the dragon throne are crafted using the traditional cast copper process. Skilled artisans pour molten brass into carefully designed molds, ensuring the precise shaping and fine details of each component. After casting, a high-temperature coloring technique is applied to achieve the rich and lustrous colors. The smooth texture and vivid hues make this ornament a visually striking addition to any space.
What makes this piece even more special is that the Fortune Cat and the dragon throne are separable. This allows for flexible display options, enabling you to arrange them according to your personal preference and the layout of the space. Whether placed in a living room, office, or business establishment, it is believed to bring positive energy, attract wealth and good luck according to Feng Shui principles. It also serves as a conversation starter and a beautiful work of art that showcases fine craftsmanship and cultural heritage. Add this Brass Emperor Fortune Cat Feng Shui Ornament to your collection and let it enhance the charm and positive vibes of your surroundings….
Precautions
Copper artefacts should be stored in a dry environment. When cleaning, please use a soft cotton cloth and avoid contact with corrosive chemicals or sharp objects to prevent damage to the product’s finish.
Copper crafts exceeding 10 centimetres in size are typically hollow. The items are manufactured using the lost wax process. A small hole is typically left at the bottom for the purpose of cleaning the casting exhaust and clearing up any residual fine sand particles in the work. Due to the intricate nature of the product structure, a small quantity of sand residue may be present within the crafts. Despite the best efforts of our team, including manual polishing and hand-painting, we cannot guarantee that every item will be 100% perfect. Please note that a small amount of trachoma is to be expected, but this will not affect the product’s aesthetic appearance when placed. If this is a concern for you, we kindly ask that you exercise caution when making your purchase.
Some of the work is carried out using electroplating. To prevent the plating from falling off and to avoid corrosion, a layer of nickel must be plated on the copper embryo. Please note that nickel has a certain degree of magnetism, which may result in a slight suction effect on these works. If you require further information on the characteristics of nickel, please refer to online sources.
